[A] Budget: Looking For Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide appraisal and survey of archival material to the government authority located in Washington, DC.
- Appraise approximately 800 linear feet of Resource Management Records against the Records and Electronic Information Management (REIM) Guide,
- Examine materials for historical and administrative value by applying the records schedules,
- Cull and segregate records that do not fit the scope of collections for archives; remove non-permanent and non-records from files; remove records that do not record decision making processes (draft copies),
- Conduct background research as necessary to understand the nature of the records, their function, order, and the context of their creation and use,
- Survey and inventory and survey approximately 800 linear feet of Resource Management Records, a majority of which are oversized records but may also include textual, audio visual, and photographic materials that document the park’s resource management activities and history,
- The survey spreadsheet must be arranged by container location and include the following fields, as appropriate, for each container of records: accession number and catalog number, original container location, container label information, container number, container type, general description of contents, arrangement, date range, type of special formats (e.g., photographs, oversized materials, audio/visual materials, etc.), extent (in linear feet), preservation photocopying needs, culling/duplicates, supplies needed, sensitive/confidential/privacy issues, reference/index terms, conservation needs/other information, container list available, and proposed series.
(2) This bid is set aside for Total Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5)

Onshore (USA Organization Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
